Pusha T and Pharrell Williams have spent more than two decades returning to the idea of work. Now they have turned one of their most recognizable expressions of it into an actual consumer product. The longtime collaborators have launched Grindin Coffee, a new coffee brand developed with Italian roaster Lavazza and named after Clipse’s 2002 Neptunes-produced single “Grindin’.” The debut includes medium and dark roasts, each available as whole bean or ground coffee for filter, espresso, or cold brew.

The name could easily have been little more than nostalgia, but the better story is the routine behind it. Pusha has described mornings with Pharrell beginning around 5 a.m. with black coffee or strong espresso, followed by studio work and long bike rides. Pharrell similarly describes coffee as something that has consistently accompanied their creative process. Grindin is being positioned around that rhythm: wake up, make something, move, and make something again.

Lavazza gives that idea some credibility beyond celebrity merchandising. The medium roast uses South American Arabica with bittersweet chocolate, caramel, and roasted-hazelnut notes. The darker blend combines Arabica and Robusta from Central and South America and Southeast Asia, with cocoa, caramel, spice, and light wood in the profile. Lavazza handles the coffee expertise while Pusha and Pharrell supply the cultural premise.

That structure reflects a broader shift in celebrity products. The strongest ones are becoming less about putting a recognizable name on an object and more about identifying a behavior already associated with the person. Pharrell has spent years moving between music, fashion, design, fitness, and entrepreneurship. Pusha’s public identity has always been unusually tied to discipline and repetition. Coffee is not a surprising category for either of them. It is almost mundane enough to make sense.

There is also something clever about turning “Grindin’” from a metaphor into a ritual. A song released in 2002 becomes a coffee brand in 2026 not simply because people remember the record, but because the underlying idea still translates. The product gives that cultural memory a physical role in someone else’s morning.

That may ultimately be the more interesting evolution in artist-led brands. The goal is no longer just to sell fans memorabilia. It is to find a place inside the routines that make up their lives. Grindin Coffee is available directly through the brand’s website, alongside a small collection of apparel and drinkware.
