The collection also introduces a relume-exclusive brown colorway alongside the return of the previously sold-out black edition.

A.P.C. has never been a brand known for dramatic reinvention.

Its appeal has always been rooted in restraint—clean silhouettes, understated details, and garments that outlast seasonal trends. That philosophy remains intact with the latest collaboration between JOURNAL STANDARD relume and A.P.C., which reworks the brand's classic "Raymond" blouson through subtle but deliberate design changes.

At first glance, the jacket looks familiar.

Look closer, and nearly every functional detail has been reconsidered. The traditional cotton shell has been replaced with a lightweight ripstop blend of nylon and polyurethane, finished with a resin coating for added wind and water resistance. A cropped body, adjustable drawcord hem, and full mesh lining transform the Raymond from a minimalist jacket into a more technical outer layer suited for warmer weather.

It's a reminder that innovation doesn't always require an entirely new product.

Some of the most compelling updates come from refining what's already there by changing proportions, upgrading materials, and improving versatility without compromising the original design. In a market saturated with collaborations competing for attention, this release takes the opposite approach. It asks the garment to speak for itself.
