Park + Jungle Reviews: The Andis Supra 120 Ion
The Andis Supra 120 iON from Andis is a great wireless option if you're looking for a clipper. It features a slick design with a lithium-ion battery that doesn't lose power while cutting. Initially I was excited to use them because a lot of the reviews boasted that the blade was detachable. Unfortunately this is more for cleaning purposes than interchanging, because Andis for some reason didn't make any other blades for it. (The back features a blade lever 0000-0). It does come with 4 attachment combs (guards), a nice docking station, and a hefty supply of blade oil.
In terms of cutting the fades this clipper produces are very smooth, reminiscent of the Wahl Magic Clips- but slightly more high end. The blade is a true 0000, so be careful because it'll catch hair very easily. Very easily. The clipper is lightweight, fits into your hand perfectly, and isn't super quiet but never gets annoying. Expect to get roughly 3-5 haircuts done before you're linking it back up to the charging dock. I find it a perfect go-to for stationary cuts, free-hand shape ups, but don't expect to knock down a ton of bulk with them.
All in all, it's a great addition to your arsenal, but I'd recommend either waiting until you had a work horse pair of clippers or spending the extra 50 bucks and just buying the Supra ZR.
