Actor Michael B. Jordan is having quite a year. Aside from his main role in the US’s highest-grossing superhero movie of all time, Black Panther, his starring role in the upcoming Fahrenheit 451, and the announcement of Creed 2, you could say his schedule is jammed packed. Well, think again.

A recent announcement confirmed that the 31-year-old is now the global face of Coach’s menswear. Aside from modeling, he’ll be alongside creative director Stuart Vevers on “special design projects”. It’s a great look, and echoes the fashion industry’s ongoing shift toward a more diverse range of individuals at the helm of a brands efforts to reach a new demographic.

“Michael is cool and authentic, and he really embodies the Coach guy,” Vevers said via a press release. “I’ve had the chance to get to know Michael over the last couple of years. He always looks great in Coach, so it felt really natural to build our relationship.”

Jordan also appears eager to get started: “I’m looking forward to jumping into the creative process and exploring fashion through a different lens.”
