Stationed in Calabasas, California, Kanye West has called upon designer Willo Perron to bring the studio to life, who referred to the aesthetic as "brutalist" and "utilitarianism".

Yeezy Studio is a one-stop for the brand now entering a new season. Design studios, prototyping, sampling spaces, and fabric resource libraries are all at the disposal of the team working there. There is also a music studio, a library, and a flexible space for hosting events, i.e. meetings and film screenings.

Having built a solid working relationship with Perron, Kanye gave him complete creative control over the new space. In the past Perron has designed the showroom for Yeezy season three, as well as the "scenic landscape" for the outdoor presentation of season four at New York's Four Freedoms Park.

It appears as though some of Kanye's initial goals he outlined in a Twitter storm some 5 plus years ago are finally taking shape. Whether Yeezy and DONDA will act as a co-op is uncertain, but with a physical location in tact it can be rest assured that Kanye and team will be venturing into new territories beyond the scope of fashion and music.
