A Look At The Nike Air Fear Of God 1
Jerry Lorenzo is all set to debut his first collaboration between his brand, Fear Of God and Nike. The signature shoe is causing quite the conversation, with mixed reviews about how it looks. While PJ Tucker was one of the first NBA players to debut them on the court, few official images have been released about the shoe.
The sportswear-influenced high-top basketball shoe features a thick white midsole and Air Max 180-inspired Zoom Air unit in the heel. A small Nike Swoosh is found on the upper, which is constructed in a mix of canvas and leather. A Huarache Light-inspired TPU lacing system rounds out the military look.
It’s widely known that Jerry was a designer for Kanye’s YEEZY brand, and purely from an observational standpoint, these shoes feel comparable to the 750. On this shoe, Lorenzo worked with Leo Chang, senior footwear design director at Nike Basketball, to help combine his aesthetic vision with high-performance technology. As of now, we have seen two confirmed colorways (Light Bone & Black) and one speculative Yellow colorway has been floating around the ‘gram. A secondary pair, shown in the image above features a Nike Swoosh, has been dubbed the SA (Shoot Around) version for off-court wear.
